XM2005

XM2005 milling machine is a kind of asphalt concrete pave- ment maintenance machinery, which is mainly used for large-scale excavation and renovation of asphalt concrete pavements of highways, urban roads, airports, freight yards, parking lots, etc. It can efficiently remove road congestion, waves, mesh patterns, ruts, etc.; excavate the pavement pits and trenches; roughen the cement pavement and mill the sur- face faulting. The milling machine has high working efficiency, simple construction process, easy control of milling depth, convenient and flexible operation and good maneuverability to directly recycle the materials from milling, and can be widely used in asphalt pavement repair, renovation and main- tenance construction.

Performance and Characteristics

• The conventional product weight is 28.5t, and it will not be overloaded when the sliding device is mounted, so that it is convenient for transportation; meanwhile, 1.4t rear counterweight can be provided additionally, and it only takes about 1h to install and remove the counter- weight, which further increases the milling capacity under load and enhances the working efficiency;
• The standard milling drum with a space of 18mm between tools is provided as a standard configuration.
• The fine milling drum with a space of 6X2mm between tools can be provided as an option for fine milling work; the general milling drum with a space of 15mm between tools is provided; the economic milling drum with a space of 25mm between tools is provided for deep milling;
• The milling drum has three speeds 131/118/109 which are corresponding to the engine speed of 2100/1900/1750.
• The speed of 131 is used for the shallow milling and roughening (0-8cm), the speed of 118 is used for medium milling (8-15cm) and the speed of 109 is used for deep milling (20-33cm). The milling efficiency will be optimized at different milling depths with the three milling speeds;
• As compared with the counterparts, this core technology independently developed by XCMG has 4 major advan- tages: 1. Reliable connection; 2. convenient removal; 3. quick tool change and 4. being solid and durable.
